·      ONEOFTHEPACK’S REPERTOIRE OF TECHNIQUES / STRATEGIES

·         Be safe

·         Have fun

·         This be me daily therapy for ALL me aliments

·         Put some run time on the Bay Flat Sr and the Yamaha Dream Machine

·         Gather Intel for future trips, and to share with fisherperson, (on Facebook) to help assist them in their choice of areas to fish, lures to use and presentation of same to the elusive Silverwonders.

·         Catch what catch can

·         Learn what learn can

·         Bring home some fish for Petite Gloria the peanut butter & jelly expert of the BJ sandwich world

·         Find a spot  # with the seven fundamentals / criteria of catching:

1 WIND AT YOUR BACK: (This criteria was our challenge for the day, with 25-30 mph winds it made it difficult to find a place to fish and get out of it. But we used the wind to help push across the ponds as we popped our corks from one end to the other. We sued both Cajun anchors lying flat on bottom to slow us down little. Wind made it easy to cat a mile.)

2 MOVING WATER: (Another criteria that cause some concern, no water moving most of the day)

3 WATER CALRITY: (Another challenge not looking good, hard to find water with the clarity we like)

4 HOLDING FISH:  (Team Jo-Jo spot # R7 & R7C)

5 PATIENTS: (n spot at 6:57 AM, around 7:50 Big Ronnie brought first lady aboard the Bay Flat Sr, slow action day, but crew made it happen, and we no get skunked)

6 SKILL: (Popping cork technique, & knowledge on are we be fishing)

7 LUCK: (NO get wind burn that bad)

§  Popping corks still dominate the catching world, tight line not on yet.

FISHERPERSON OF THE DAY:

Oneofthepack managed (3) Silverwonders, just could not make it happen today, did me best, but sometimes it takes more than your best.

Big Rudy got on a roll, he too managed some Silverwonders, but t be a slow day for us all, Big Rudy never put his rod down for a second be at it all day, but it was not to be today.

Big Ronnie on board first after a very slow start of day, caught biggest Silverwonder of the day, and managed to being in (2) Flounders , also showed his ability to multi fish various techniques, catching fish with popping corks, tight lining, and with various type lures & colors, Big Ronnie be fisherperson of the day.

SUGGESTIONS:

Heading to Delacroix, suggest be prepared Gnats are out in full force, seen flumes for them wth 1,000, of 1,000 of the fisherperson eating villains, be prepared see attach video on what me use to ward off those name calling bugs.

PONDER OF THE DAY:

“If your concentration is getting bad, take up Silverwonder popping cork fishing. It will really improve your ability to focus. If you aren’t ready when that fish hits, you can’t set the hook.”

Q&A:

Question:

When water moving into Bayou Terre Aux Boeufs under Reggio canal bridge, it tide falling or coming in???????????

TEAM JO-JO’S future stratagem:

Nothing plan. Plan on waiting for wind to die down some, until then:

Good Fishing
