§ Boat speed
§ Amont of line needed to be let out to be in strike zone
· Verify action / condition of lakeshore Estate canal systems
· Bring home domes fishes for Big Captain Don’s family & friends
· Find a spot # with the seven fundamentals / criteria of catching:
1 WIND AT YOUR BACK: (This criterion was a challenge it made it to rough for the Bay Flat Jr in Lake P, kept pushing us away from trestles why the tide be falling. But we found calm water in (LSE))
2 MOVING WATER: (Falling all morning, plenty current lines in (LSE)
3 WATER CALRITY: (A 7 plus perfect it be, dark, clean, clear, just the way me like it.)
4 HOLDING FISH: (FB 3-5 in Lake P, Lakeshore Estate (LSE) canal system in front of dwellings in about 20-22 feet of water)
5 PATIENCES: (In hot spot at 7:01, 7:14 BAM but me missed it, took about another 12 minutes for big Don to bring in 1st Silverwonders of the day. The action in Lake p was great, but the company showed up and kept boxing us in, had to make a move to (LSE) due to high winds. We did not want to go out past the north draw bridge as it was rough riding.)
6 SKILL: (Team Jo-Jo Lake P troll rig technique / presentation)
7 LUCKS: (We had a plan “B”: & “C” if needed for the day.

AREAS / SPOTS / NUMBERS ON THE MAP FISHED:
Lake P FB3- FB-5, (10)t (LSE) canal systems, (15)t, 2r, 3f,1b stopped fishing around 12:58.
OUR REWARDS:
· Lived to fish another day.
· (25) Silverwonders, 4 Miniwonders
§ Missed NMR at boat
§ Missed (2) Reeling them in
§ Big Don caught a double Silverwonders
§ Oneofthepack caught a double Silverwonders
· (2) The Ratworriers, caught as a double, 1 on orange and 1 on green trailers.
· (3) Flounders
· (1) Bass
· A rough start of the day, Lake P winds where a lot more than predicted, had to move on to plan “B” to extend our time on the water.
· Cold, cool, relaxing day n the water
· Lots of cool, dry, fresh air in our lungs
· Saw a beautiful sun rise for sure
· Being on the water with one of the best fisherpersons me now , that be Big Captain Don, (aka Perchwhisper)
· One of the best peanut butter sandwiches me ever had, thanks Big Don me needed that, what a pick me up it be.
· Lessons learned:
§ Always have a plan “B” and / or even a plan “C” for every trip.
· Plan “A” fish trestles not good too much wind
o Plan “B” fish Lakeshore Estate by Blind tiger
o Plan “C” fish Lakeshore Estate east body of water
§ Don’t put too much faith in weatherman predictions
§ Plan “B” holding some nice (NMR) Silverwonders, and other species of fish too
§ Did not need plan “C”
§ Me knew we in right place, Big Chas , (of matrix shad fame) showed up around 11:45 AM, Silverwonders turned on, Big Chas left around 12:30, Silverwonders shutdown left with him.
§ Got to see Chas’s trademark flipping presentations of his lures, it works
§ He to be trolling ( Using wind & sometimes trolling motor) dragging lure behind boat and flipping lure violently up and down.
§ The man is good!!!!!!!!!
§ His first mate, (as was mind) was no slough
§ Silverwonders seem to be in deeper water 20-22 feet
§ Water clarity at trestles & Lakeshore a 7 plus, looking really good
§ Tide was down 14-16”
§ Need to make sure when me go to Lakeshore me have depth finder on board, without it was like fishing blind, could not actually know eacxlay where edge of drop was , had to use memory & guess, not good this be,
· Best fishing trip of my life, until the next one.
FISHERPERSON OF THE DAY:
Big Don quick out the gate caught 1st one, then went stale for a while, he managed a couple more in lake P. Once we got to (LSE) canal system he got the knack of Lakre P Troll technique, he got on a roll, even had a double hook of which he swears he caught 3 at one time, but me not buying that me was right next to him and saw 2 come in. It was a great effort, but me feel he feels a little short for the honors today.
Oneofthepack caught the biggest Silverwonder, all Ratworriers, all Founders, and all bass, and of course me had me share of the NMR Silverwonders too. Me fell me edge him out today, which is very unusual for that to happen, so me teak it while me can.
SUGGESTIONS:
If you see Big Chas out and bout on the water, do as he do, say as he says, fish as he fish, catch as he catches, but stay a good distance from the master.
PONDER OF THE DAY:
“A Fisherperson is a great catcher not because he hasn’t caught; a fisherperson great because catch less hasn’t stopped him”
Q&A:
Do you always have a plan “A”, “B” and even a “C” on/ for your trips?
TEAM JO-JO’S future stratagem:
I have nothing planned, but that never stopped me before, Saturday & Sunday open Bay Flat Sr and/or Bay Flat Jr, your call!!!!!!
Good Fishing
