Team Jo-Jo’s Mission: Sea-Doo, Dingy, & A Little Fishing on the Side

The crew for today’s expedition consisted of Big Rudy (our trusted First Mate), Big Alex (earning his stripes as Seaman Apprentice), and Oneofthepack leading the charge. But this wasn't your typical Silverwonder & Redwarrior hunt—our mission was a bit different.

Mission Objective:

Retrieve a Sea-Doo and a dingy from the water and get them onto land so Big Alex could transport them home for servicing. A routine operation? Maybe. But every trip with Team Jo-Jo has the potential for adventure!

Big Alex’s Big Move

Big Alex has decided to part ways with his Sea-Doo, a sleek, three-seater beast that supposedly hits 70 mph on the water. If you're looking to own a speed demon on the waves, drop us a line—this bad boy is up for grabs.

But the bigger story? Big Alex’s Bay Boat! With his new ride coming in, dock slings will need modifications to accommodate the switch. Translation? Lake P fishing trips are in our future!

Fishing Opportunity? Why Not!

Knowing we'd be navigating the Eden Isle canal system, me figured, "Why waste a chance?" So, me rigged up two Lake P trolling setups, hoping to hook into something while we made our way to Big Alex’s condo. Loons were everywhere, a good sign… or so we thought.

The Final Tally

Our efforts yielded some mixed results:✔️ Lived to fish another day (Always a win!)✔️ (1) Miniwonder (A true trophy… if you squint.)✔️ (2) Hang-ups, 2 popped lines (That’s fishing for ya.)✔️ (1) Sea-Doo (Mission accomplished.)✔️ (1) Dingy (Check.)

The Grand Reward

For our hard work, Big Alex treated us to lunch at Southside—a well-earned meal after a day of hauling, trolling, and dealing with rogue Loons. And as if that wasn’t enough excitement, we lined up a Thursday night card game… where my luck continued its downward spiral. Me walked away .60 of a “C” note lighter—not a great look for my poker career.

Me World Is Crashing!

☠️ Bad luck at cards.☠️ Even worse luck at catching.☠️ Fishing has been OFF the charts… in the wrong direction.
