Team Jo-Jo:
Loveofthepack and Oneofthepack felt it was the perfect time of year and the ideal conditions for Loveofthepack to refine her versing, technique, and presentation of Soupofthepack.
It was a day of long preparation (1-20-25) for our soup masterpiece. We started at 7 PM Sunday, and on the way home, we stopped at Dorignac’s Food Center in Metairie. Unfortunately, the shelves were empty—no soup meat, no vegetables, and the bakery was closed.
Determined not to give up, Loveofthepack and Oneofthepack continued their mission the next day. At Rouse’s, we found everything we needed. They were fully stocked with all the components for Loveofthepack to create her special Soupofthepack.
After the soup was complete, we hit the road, delivering bowls to Daughterofthepack, Big AO, and Big S. We even brought a BIG bowl to the card game for the card crew, and it was received like a fine wine.
We don’t have a recipe—it truly included everything but the kitchen sink (and maybe a little bit of that, too).
