Team Jo-Jo Report:
Big Rudy and his first mate made a run today (Thursday) to Delacroix Island, our fishing haven. They took off in Big Rudy's Avid 21' Bay Boat powered by a 150 hp Yamaha, heading straight for Team Jo-Jo Spot #21. Unfortunately, the Redwarriors have vacated the area; not a bite in sight. They checked out a few other spots from our map, but it seems the fish weren't playing along today. Spot #21, which has been a reliable producer, seems to have dried up. Looks like Oneofthepack and the crew will need to regroup and find the new hangout spots for the Redwarriors.
Thunderstorms and rain eventually chased them back to home port, but at least they didn't get skunked releasing (2) freshwater drum before calling it a day.
Next up, we have a Saturday trip planned with Sonofthepack and Big Lane. We'll be running around Delacroix, hot on the trail of those elusive Silverwonders and Redwarriors. Until then, tight lines!
