🎣 Team Jo-Jo Fishing Chronicles 🎣Big Rudy’s View – Lake P Trestles Edition
Ahoy from the helm! Big Rudy here, chiming in with my angle on one of our recent Team Jo-Jo escapades to the legendary Lake Pontchartrain trestles. This trip had all the right ingredients — ideal conditions, solid teamwork, and our trusty Lake P Troll technique in full effect.
🎥 The Action
From the moment we dropped the lures and settled into the troll, the rods started dancing. Every pass along the pilings brought anticipation, and several delivered the classic thump of a Silverwonder striking hard. The Bay Flat Jr handled the chop like a champ, and we had front-row seats to the natural ballet of birds, bait, and bites.
Technique Highlights:
Lake P Troll presentation: slow and low, tight to the bottom.
Lure of choice: [Insert preferred lure if needed], dressed up with garlic spray and tipped with shrimp.
Trolling speed: Just enough to keep tension, not too fast to spook.
📸 The Shots
We captured some great stills and action clips — rod bends, net shots, and a classic Rudy over-the-shoulder grin with a Silverwonder in hand. Oneofthepack caught some great profile angles of the trestles in the early morning light — serenity at its finest.
🍽 The Results
Let’s just say the filets didn’t last long. A little seasoning, a splash of lemon, and they were gone-gone. Lake P gave us not just a good pull on the line but a full plate at the end of the day.
🧭 Looking Ahead
Plans are already forming for the next sortie. We’re watching the weather, the tides, and the wind like hawks. Once the window opens, Bay Flat Sr or Jr will be headed back to the trestles or perhaps a new spot we’ve had our eyes on.
Stay tuned, and keep those rods ready.Tight lines, smooth waters, and good friends always.
