Team Jo-Jo Report – Friday Lake P Thunderstorm Silver Surprise!
Despite the booming skies and ominous clouds, Big Rudy & Big Barrett hit the water early and just beat the storm—but not before raining down a catch of 30 Silverwonders in classic Lake Pontchartrain fashion!
Trip Highlights:
🎣 Catch Tally:
- Total: 30 Speckled Trout
- 1 dink at 14", but the rest?
- 29 slabs at 16”+ — true Lake P NMR (No Measure Required) heavyweights!
🌊 Location:
- Lake Pontchartrain (Exact spot = Classified, but Team Jo-Jo insiders know the clues…)
- Water depth: 8–10 feet
🎯 Technique & Tactics:
- Tight Lining the bottom
- Green Hornet soft plastic, ¼ oz jighead
- Classic “feel the thump, set the hook” action
- Fish stacked up, hitting with confidence
🌩️ Weather:
- Thunderstorm looming pushed an early wrap-up
- Got in safe before the skies cracked open
- Moral: “You got to go to know!”
🧠 Fishing Lesson of the Day:
Just when Oneofthepack thought the Lake P bite was fading, the fish proved him wrong. That’s the beauty of fishing — assumptions don’t catch fish, showing up does.
⚓ Experience beats expectations every time.
