Lake P+ Lake P Troll + Trestles, = NMR's Silverwonders

TEAM JO-JO:

Trip Log – Oneofthepack's Monday Mission: Secured

After facing the sting of rejection from Big Rudy (who opted to ride with Big Barrett chasing bait slicks out on Lake P), Oneofthepack remained cool, calm, and collected — politely declining the invite to join their crew. As is long-standing Jo-Jo protocol: me don’t fish out of other fisherpersons boat. Appreciation was extended, but the line was drawn.

Cue the opening of the First Mate Log:

🔍 Status check:

·         Big Don = OFF the IR list ✅

·         Petite Lucy = Out of fish for her signature salad 🥗🐟

Solution? Simple.Fire off the ol’ faithful fishing flare via text:

🕔 "Lake P, 5 AM — troll mission — you in?"

⚡️Response from Big Don: “Sounds good.”

🎣 Just like that, the Bay Flat Jr. is fully crewed and Monday-ready.

Mission Details:

·         Objective: Silverwonders via Lake P troll technique

·         Vessel: Bay Flat Jr.

·         Time of Departure: 0500 hours sharp

We even made it back before storm & rain, even the rain was good, Bay Flat Jr got a much-needed wash.

·         Lessons learned:

§  Big Ron off (IR), and he be a little rusty with Lake P Troll Technique

§  Big Ron indicated he never had this much slime on his hands since his wedding night

§  Lake P trestles still holding some nice Silverwonders & Flounders

§  Water clarity a 4 plus a little sandy looking

·         Best fishing trip of my life, until the next one.

FISHERPERSON OF THE DAY:

Big Don been on (IR) just came off cold, no Lake P troll this year, dominated catfish division, brought a few Silverwonders, had two double hook ups, did a great job as first mate, but all efforts fell a little short today for honors.

It was me day!!!!!!!!!!!

SUGGESTIONS:

Silverwonders still out along trestles, go out and get you some, not as BIG, but lots of action and fun it be)

PONDER OF THE DAY:

“The use of Matrix Shad lures has become ubiquitous, with fishers of all ages using them to both fish and catch.”

Q&A:

"Keep your eyes wide open before marriage to a fisherperson, half shut afterward."

TEAM JO-JO’S future stratagem:

No plan, but plan to change that, until then:

Good Fishing
