TEAM JO-JO:
Team Jo-Jo’s Big Rudy and his first mate embarked on their fishing adventure with high hopes, starting off with plan “A” to explore the waters off Mississippi's coast. However, as they assessed the conditions, the wind's unpredictability prompted them to reconsider their strategy. They swiftly transitioned to plan “B,” directing their course towards Delacroix with specific spots in mind, including # R7, 7A, B, & C, known for promising catches.
As they made their way across the 25-mile reef of the causeway, a change in the wind pattern caught their attention. The water's clarity and the calming of the wind suggested ideal fishing conditions along this unexpected route. Flexibility being key in fishing, they decided to seize the moment and cast their lines along the causeway, deviating from their plan to plan “C” fishing Lake P.
After a fruitful session along the causeway, they regrouped and stuck to plan “C,” returning to their intention of fishing at Lake P. Despite the challenge posed by 3-foot waves upon launching, their determination remained unwavering. It was a test of their skills and adaptability, a hallmark of seasoned anglers.
Their persistence paid off handsomely with a rewarding catch of (3) NMR Silverwonders, showcasing their expertise in targeting elusive species, along with (2) flounders adding to their successful haul. Beyond the tangible rewards, the camaraderie and shared experiences during the trip created lasting memories, reinforcing the spirit of Team Jo-Jo's fishing adventures.
