Team Jo-Jo Update:

On Tuesday , Big Roonie, (captain for the day)  and Big Rudy Ronnie embarked on a fishing trip to  our Disney World known as Delacroix Island. Once again Oneofthepack still under the weather some, could not make trip..

The Catch:

• (86) Silverwonders – A great haul of these beauties, proving the fish were active.

• (56) Miniwonders – Smaller catches but always a fun addition to the mix.

Techniques and Presentations:

• Tight line: One of our go-to methods for working the deeper waters, and it didn’t disappoint.

• Popping cork: This technique worked well when targeting fish near the surface, helping the team bring in several Silverwonders.

• Oak River Troll: A major success with this method, yielding (6) Silverwonders. It’s always satisfying to see a technique in action, especially after presenting it at our latest Team Jo-Jo fishing curriculum this past Saturday at Fatty’s Seafood. We demonstrated the ins and outs of the Oak River Troll, and it was great to see Big Rudy and Big Ronnie using it effectively, proving it’s still a top performer for catching Silverwonders.

The trip was a solid success despite my absence, and it’s always gratifying to see techniques taught in our curriculum being put into practice with fruitful results. This outing serves as a great reminder that sharing knowledge at our meetings makes all the difference when it’s time to get out on the water.
