🌅 Pre-launch Phase:
Launch plan initiated via late-night texts.
Original trip was set for Wednesday, but school duty called Big William to class.
Adjusted to Thursday, with meetup at Pablo HQ for 5:00 AM sharp.
Decision: T-Doc’s ride selected for the mission—solid call for the haul.
🧭 Mission Objectives:
Target Species:
🎯 Redwarriors (16”–20”+ Class)
🐟 Backup: Silverwonders if encountered.
Gear:
Live shrimp (fresh, squirmy, irresistible)
Carolina rigs / popping corks / bottom draggers
Backup artificial lures (just in case)
🐟 On the Water:
Smooth cruise out across Lake Borne—wind light, water clarity passable.
Arrival at Double-Secret Redwarrior Hole:
Big Pablo gives the nod, “This the spot.”
First line down... 💥 BAM!
Big William hooks up—line screaming, rod bent—first Redwarrior to the deck.
Big Pablo follows up with a double on shrimp—1 Redwarrior.
T-Doc gets in on the action with a steady cadence of thumps.
Oneofthepack?
Dead weight officially confirmed...
Though, to be fair, someone had to document, hydrate the crew, and tell war stories from Team Jo-Jo lore.
📊 Catch Recap:
Redwarriors: ✔️ Plenty on deck
Jack fish: ✔️ Big William’s PR to date
Miniwonders: ✔️ Some accidental hookups
Silverwonders: ❌ No confirmed sightings
🧃 Other Highlights:
Big William soaked it all in—his eyes lit up with every pull.
Another future captain in the making.
Big Pablo's knowledge = 🔥🔥🔥.
That “double secret hole”? Not so secret anymore to the next gen.
T-Doc’s ride: smooth, stable, reliable. Great platform for young William’s first serious Redwarrior run.
📝 Trip Summary:
“Grandson got the thrill, Big Pablo got the fill, T-Doc kept it chill, and Oneofthepack paid the bill.”
A great morning of bonding, learning, and catching. The next generation is officially onboard, and the legend of Team Jo-Jo continues.

§ Big Pablo’s top secret Redwarriors hole
§ New way to hook shrimp all be it they live, not my tape of hooking them, but it works Big Pablo proof in the pudding.
§ Me had 2 poles rigged up, one with jig head and one with hook and split sinker, found out one with hook fed the banana fish need weight to get hook past them.
§ South shore marine has live shrimp and a nice place to launch.
§ Nice run to Lake Borne, we crossed on a 45* angle to honey hole.
§ Popping cork technique with live shrimp
§ Big William fisherperson of eh day with his BIG JACK
· Best fishing trip of my life, until the next one.
FISHERPERSON OF THE DAY:
None other than Big Pablo, we be in his backyard, he had the technique down pat, based on numbers he would have been fisherperson of the day, but not today.
Nig T-Doc had some action, but he kept changing his tackle, rods, reels, plus he be on bow away from strike zone.
Oneofthepack was just Oneofthepack, managing one Redwarrior on lures, and taken pictures and video all the action.
Big William got int eh game quickly, managed the biggest Redwarrior, had his share of them, and even cinched the honors with his BIG Jack Caravelle of the day, Big William took the honors today.
SUGGESTIONS:
Might want to hook live shrimp the way Big Pablo does, see pictures & video for actual way he hooks them.
Also might want to sue 1/8 0z/ jig head with live shrimp to get shrimp away from banana fish.
Think live shrimp was the key today.
PONDER OF THE DAY:
"The greatest attraction of a fishing trip is that it allows washing one's soul with pure air."
Q&A:
What do you think happens after fisherperson dies, asking for a friend RIP?
TEAM JO-JO’S future stratagem:
Big Hugh & Big Mike up next for a journey out to Delacroix, Sunday in search of the elusive Redwarriors and a Silverwonder or two, until then:
Good Fishing
