Big Pablo’s boat was in shop having some repairs done, (New 35-gallon internal fuel tank, repair trim tab, pull full service on his Yamaha Dream Machine, plus a few other miscellaneous items done to it) he got a call it was ready and picked it up. ·         Catch what catch can.

·         Learn what learn can.

·         Objectives:

§  Confirm how Big Pablo motor & boat ran after repairs.

§  Verify water clarity in Lake B areas.

§  See is Redwarriors hiding in Big Pablo secret spot!

§  How the catching in Like B and surrounding areas.

§  Bring home some dinner for Big Pablo’s family.

·         Find a spot  # with the seven fundamentals / criteria of catching:

1 WIND AT YOUR BACK: (Wind not a factor today, except when thunderstorm passing then we had a real strong cross wind to fish.)

2 MOVING WATER: (This criterion was our challenge today not much movement at all, even in chocked down areas. Plus, we had (2) tides today, with no major or minor feed times.)

3 WATER CALRITY: (A 3 minus, not to me liking at all, do not think the fish liked it either.)

4 HOLDING FISH:  (Scattered all over, mostly catfish)

5 PATIENTS: (Needed plenty, of which me had none, after secret spot not producing me was ready to stop for the day and beat the rein & heat)

6 SKILL: (Live shrimp under cork)

7 LUCKS: (Thunderstorm passed over us dropped temperature and we got wet, best luck of the day)

AREAS / SPOTS / NUMBERS ON THE MAP FISHED:

Big Pablo’s top secrete spot, Castel, Rig, Lake B shoreline , made 6-8 spots called it a day around 11:10 AM

OUR REWARDS:

·         Lived to fish another day.

·         (0) Silverwonders

·         (1) Redwarrior

·         (1) Croaker

·         (3) Bana Fish

·         (7) Hardheads

·         (3) Gaff Tops

·         Lots of fresh air

·         Lots of sun

·         Big Pablo’s boat and motor ran great, no problems had we.

·         Bring on the water with one of the best fisherpersons me know, that be Big Pablo

·         Lessons learned:

§  Days with expected low tide movement and/or dual tides are not a good day to catch for us.

§  Big Pablo rigg running great.

§  Big Pablo secret hole so secret event the reds did not know about it today.

§  Need to wait for fall season for action.

§  Castel not producing anything today, no fish at all had 9-10 boats did not see one fish caught.

·         Best fishing trip of my life, until the next one.

FISHERPERSON OF THE DAY:

Oneofthepack lead the catfish division, dominated croaker category, caught a banana fish, missed Redwarrior of the day, hooked lit but line broke, but even with all that efforts fell a little short for the honors today.

Big Pablo was slow out of the gate, me thought me had him, but then he caught that 20” Redwarrior, all it took was one fish to take honors today, he be fisherperson of the day for sure.

SUGGESTIONS:

Not sure what to suggest! However, looking for suggestion on where to catch some sheepsheads???????

PONDER OF THE DAY:

Never mind those failures till yesterday. Each new fishing day is a sequel of a wonderful life; gifted with hopes to succeed.

Q&A:

Which charter captain is the true GOAT?

TEAM JO-JO’S future stratagem:

Long range plan……………………………come on fall, until then:

Good Fishing
