Team Jo-Jo: Fishing, Cards, and Midnight Runs

For Team Jo-Jo, the adventure never stops, whether we’re chasing Silverwonders on the water, strategizing at the card table, or enjoying a midnight feast at Waffle House. Fishing and playing cards share so much in common—both demand skill, patience, and the ability to read the situation. You need the right bait or the right hand, the wisdom to know when to stay put or make a bold move, and the courage to go all in when the moment is right. Success in both requires focus, timing, and a touch of luck. And when you hit that rush—whether it's a school of fish or a winning streak—you go hard, savoring the thrill of the catch or the victory.

Our recent midnight Waffle House run was no exception, combining all the elements of what we love most: good food, great company, and lively conversation. This time, we were joined by Granddaughterofthepack, Big Burgan, and Big Vienne, who brought their enthusiasm and energy to the table. While they may not have been out on the water or holding a hand of cards, they were there for the most important part of any outing—the bonds we build and the memories we create together.

No matter where the day or night takes us, Team Jo-Jo approaches it with the same spirit: work together, enjoy the journey, and always be ready for the next adventure.
