š£Ā Team Jo-Jo Update ā Dry Land ChroniclesĀ šš¤
Team Jo-Jo & OneofthepackĀ reporting inā¦
Itās been way too long off the waterĀ ā a mix of high winds, dirty water, doctor appointments, and lifeās curveballs has kept the Bay Flat Sr dry and docked. I can feel the gills drying out, and Iām starting to shrivel up and blow awayĀ like a forgotten shrimp on a hot dock!
But fear not⦠while the fishing poleās been idle, the deck of cards has seen plenty of action. Monday nightās card game brought some much-needed victory ā I wasnāt the fish at the table this time. With a little bluff, a lot of patience, and some lucky flops, I managed to increase my lure-buying power by 1.7 āCā notesĀ šµ. Not too shabby for a dry spell!
To spice things up, the culinary itch kicked in. So I decided to cook for the crew ā served up a batch of my infamous BBQShrimpofthepackĀ for Monday nightās showdown. Rumor has it, I mightāve gotten a little heavy-handed with the black pepper, but based on the empty tray, Iād say it was a home run with the card crew and kitchen crowd alike. š§š„š¤
š£Ā Just like fishing, card playing takes:
Right place
Right time
The perfect bait (or bluff)
Patience
Focus
And knowing exactlyĀ when to set the hook.
Looking forward to getting back on the water soon ā the Silverwonders and Redwarriors won't wait forever.
Until thenā¦Good fishing, good eating, and good winning.
