Crew, take note:

You can lose BIG girls 💔🐟 when you’ve got too much line out and try to flip them into the boat.

That’s why me no longer run a leader from Power Pro to the ¾ oz. jig head when using the Lake P Troll rig. I’ve deleted the 2-foot leader.

Why? 👉 Because those final few feet can cost you the fish of the day—line stretch, slack, and leverage work against you when that Silverwonder gets airborne or shakes at boatside.

Lesson learned (the hard way):Keep it tight, keep it simple, and keep those big girls coming over the rail!
