· Try our drop shot rigs, same ones we had so much success with in ICW, see how Delacroix fish liked them
· Bring home some fishes for Petite Gloria & Petite Yana
· Find a spot # with the seven fundamentals / criteria of catching:
1 WIND AT YOUR BACK: (We had wind at our back all day, mostly drifting, (dropped (2) Cajun anchors flat) to help slow us down as we drifted across lagoon and casting corks, did some tight line but once aging it a at our back)
2 MOVING WATER: (Falling hard all day, me think this too might have water a little dirty too, along with siphon)
3 WATER CALRITY: (This criteria was our challenge for the day, first place R& a 4 minus, all others a 2minus to a 2, not looking good anywhere from Grand Lagoon, to Grand Lake)
4 HOLDING FISH: (Spot # R7)
5 PATIENTS: (First cast 7:37, first fish 8:05, after that fish nothing else had all day, we stopped fishing around 12:28)
6 SKILL: (Knowing where Kenny Seafood is located)
7 LUCK: (Catching one fish & seeing a shooting star)

AREAS / SPOTS / NUMBERS ON THE MAP FISHED:
Grand Lagoon, Lake John, Oak River, Grand Lake, all points in-between, top, bottom, all levels in-between, stopped fishing around noon thirty
OUR REWARDS:
· Lived to fish another day
· (1) Silverwonder
· (1) Alligator, popped me line, hooked him on bottom tight lining Matrix Shad Lemon Drop
· (1) Crab Trap
· (1) Oyster shell
· (1/2) bushel of grass
· (1) Shoreline
· Saw a shooting star on way down
· Saw a pair of America Eagles that roost , (been there for years) in Oak River & North South Pipeline area
· Saw many alligators to our surprise
· Great peanut & butter sandwiches as provide by Petite Gloria, thanks lady me need that
· Yamaha Dream Machine working / performed well after her 1,000 service
· It has been (52) days, (Bay Flat Sr getting service) since me last trip to Delacroix, gather a lot of intel / info for future trips to Delacroix
· Being on the water with (2) of the best fisherpersons me know, that be Big Ronnie & Big Rudy
· Lessons learned:
Rule # 1 aboard Bay Flat Sr, motor running all sit down
§ Today we established rule # 2 which is as follows:
· No person/s will be allowed on Bay Flat Sr, that has consumed a banana (2) days before trip day.
§ The myth about bananas was once again proved , (re; trip results today) today, as we loading up Bay Flat Sr, Big Rudy chumping down a BIG banana, both Big Ronnie & Oneofthepack simultaneously yelled not a banana. Big Rudy claimed he knew about mi=myth, but by eating it before trip it would not be aboard, not so maintain Big Ronnie & Oneofthepack it be in your belly which be aboard the Bay Flat Sr. Hence we now have rule # 2 for Bay Flat Sr.
· Made correct decision to go to spot R7 to start our day, felt it would be the best place to have better clarity of water, which we had a 4 minus.
· Water dirty all over everywhere else, clarity of a 2 minus to a 2, not looking good everywhere. We ran from Grand Lagoon, all the way to Grand Lake , through zone 5, 4, 3, 2 &1 and all spot numbers look the same, Dirty Water, looked like river water, not good this be.
· Caernarvon Outfall Channel discharging 5,500 cubic feet per second of river water, which equates to 3.6 million gallons per/day of river water flowing through Delacroix, hence why we have river water throughout Delacroix.
· Biggest lesson taught today, Delacroix to the area to be fishing until sometime in April.
· Best fishing trip of my life, until the next one.
FISHERPERSON OF THE DAY:
Oneofthepack skunked, me only action hooked an alligator tight lining on bottom, no honors today.
Big Ronnie brought in a stick, but he too fell short for honors today.
Big banana eating Rudy caught the only fish of the day, but me thin he to feel short for fisherperson of the day, effort was there but results , (as with all of us) not to be found.
Me just could not make it happen today!!!!!!!
SUGGESTIONS:
Might want to give Delacroix a break, fish areas with clean water, like Hopedale, Shell Beach, MRGO, ICW, Bayou Bienvenue, that be what me going to do.
PONDER OF THE DAY:
"There is no limit to how many times you can go fishing.”
Q&A:
How would you describe fishing ‘freedom’ in your own words?
JO-JO’S future stratagem:
Nothing plan, strategizing me next move, re: area to fish, find clean water, and do what me do best for best results, learn!!!!!!
Good Fishing
