TEAM JO-JO:
First mate Big Rudy and Oneofthepack are on a mission, (Friday) to assist Big Pablo with gathering inventory for the church, (April) fish fry. Their goal is to employ the Lake P Troll technique to catch 15-30 Silverwonders, also known as NMRs, for this noble cause. They're calling on any other fisherpersons who can lend a hand or offer Silverwodners to join their quest. Together, they're aiming to make a significant contribution to the upcoming fish fry. Here's to a successful outing on the water!

· Catch our fish & beat the front coming in, dodge the rain
· Find a spot # with the seven fundamentals / criteria of catching:
1 WIND AT YOUR BACK: (This criteria was our true challenge for today, S. / S.E string winds that Mother Nature gave us today, worked us over pretty good. It was our game to dodge the rocks as the wind pushed us into them. But we mastered it, and then move over to the other side and fished a lee wind side of ICW)
2 MOVING WATER: (Tail end of a rising tide, slack, then started to fall, it was falling real hard when we came in 12:10)
3 WATER CALRITY: (Looked to be a 6 plus, very good looking it be, me was surprised with all that wind we had the other day.)
4 HOLDING FISH: Rocks along ICW
5 PATIENTS: (Arrived at 7;19, by 7:27 Big Rudy brought in an oyster shell, right after that me bright in a Flounder, it was slow action, but a lot of action was had)
6 SKILL: (Lake P troll, master the wind difficulty factor)
7 LUCK: (No get wet, no catch motor, got some fish for Big Pablo)

· (5) Flounders
· (1) Bass
· (1) Shell
· (1) long rope
· (1) Stick
· (8) Bottoms, one popped line, only lost (1) Lake P Troll rig.
· Got to see Captain Danny Hunter he be on a solo / scouting trip along ICW. Both of us waiting for other to leave due to weather, but it was a draw we both eft at the same time
· Being on the water with one of the best fisherperson me know, that be Big Rudy
· Nice quick, easy, relaxing trip
· Lessons learned:
§ South wind and/or any southern direction wind that be a strong wind makes it hard to fish rocks. Wind keeps wanting to push you into rocks. We had do troll at 2.25 to 2.5 just to have control of Bay Flat Jr, we also had to have boat on a 45 degree from rocks into wind as we moving forward.
§ Last trip with Big Roy, the double (NMR) hook up me caught, Big Roy said one had a 6” mullet in its belly, the other had a big perch in its belly.
§ Captain Danny Hunter added a Live Scope unit in his bat to help put is customers on fish, he showed us a video of t today.
§ Fun section of rocks where the BIG girls live. Need to learn how to set up on it and tight line and/or drop shot them
§ Mapped out / learned where a lot of hangs located, but good to help miss them next time out
· Best fishing trip of my life, until the next one.
FISHERPERSON OF THE DAY:
Big Rudy fished Wednesday Delacroix, Thursday Hopedale, he be tight lining & popping cork fishing, me think it effected his ability to do Lake P Troll. He kept telling me that he ha twice as much line as usual to get to bottom. Big Rudy dominated Flounder division, excelled in hang ups, caught the one and only rope, and did manage a few Silverwonders. But he be a little off center today, and fisherperson of the day honors not going his way today.
Oneofthepack was in his groove today, be happy to gain one from Big Rudy, because he be always fisherperson of the day.
SUGGESTIONS:
Stop by Big Tony, (Fishermen’s Friend at Gulf Outlet) as to see sample Lake P Troll rig we gave him, while you be there get you some of his beautiful live shrimp just in case Lake P Troll don’t work for you.
PONDER OF THE DAY:
There is always, always, always something to catch and be grateful for.
Q&A:
What rig is your favorite rig to troll with?
TEAM JO-JO’S future stratagem:
Nothing plan, however plan to change that plan soon, until then:
Good Fishing
