TEAM JO-JO:
Today’s, (Monday 12-23-24) ) crew consisted of Big Matt on his maiden voyage with Team Jo-Jo and that of the Bay Flat Sr. WE met Big Matt at Team Jo-Jo Fishing Curriculum Session this past Saturday during our introduction & Q&A, we became aware that Big Matt just moved his boat down to Delacroix in October, and he was looking for info / intel on how, when, where , what, way & how to fishing our Disney world known as Delacroix Island. In addition, he was inquisitive on where and how to run around Delacroix, Big Matt only had a few days off from work, so we asked him what he is doing Monday, we answered for him we are going fishing down to Delacroix.
Big Rudy Team Jo-Jo’s first mate was going to join us, me felt we needed a fisherperson who can catch fish, this selection rounded off our trip to a Menage a Trois journey

1 WIND AT YOUR BACK: (This criterion was a challenge for us today, but we used it to our advantage, letting t push us across open bays as we cat & popped our popping corks back to us, worked well for us)
2 MOVING WATER: (Don’t think we had much, no current lines to fish, felt like it not moving at all, even in our choke down points not moving much, this criterion was needed more today then ever,….BUT!!)
3 WATER CALRITY: (Lake John a 3, Team Jo-Jo spot # R7 a 3 plus)
4 HOLDING FISH: (Team Jo-JO # 51K & # 7)

· Lessons learned:
o Big Matt’s SeaFox station in its slip about a block from Bay Flat Sr
o Still don’t like snowbird type days to fish
o Not much tide today
o No major and/or minor feed times today
o Very low tide coefficient today
o Had some concerned about water level, it was low, but able to run around without any problems
o Big Matt can fish, and he can catch
o Me could not make it happen today, but we got an “E” for effort
· Best fishing trip of my life, until the next one.
FISHERPERSON OF THE DAY:
Oneofthepack was not even on the list today, caught a few but to few to mention. My efforts where slow and not convincing to capture the honors today. Me was just Oneofthepack today.
Big Matt surprised me he be a fisherperson for sure, took him a few casts to get into the action, but after that he was on, on, on. When he slowed down Big Rudy offered him a Power Prawn with yellow tail, and a 1/16 jig head.
Big Rudy just Big Rudy, caught 1st one, last one, biggest one, most ones, he was just a one-man machine all the way to the end. Big Rudy be fisherperson of the day , this day, but there is always tomorrow for sure, and time will tell.
SUGGESTIONS:
Water clarity improving down in Delacroix, but best clarity water still on Lake Robin side of bayou Terre Aux Boeufs, and that whole body of water has a good clarity for catching. Suggest Lake Amedee Lake Robin, Grand Lagoon, B Batola, Tanasia La, Petain Lagoon, Lake Ameda, and surrounding areas to fish & catch Silverwonders.
PONDER OF THE DAY:
“Either you fish the day or the fish runs you.”
Q&A:
Why don’t fish play hide and seek? Because they always get caught hook, line, and sinker!
TEAM JO-JO’S future stratagem:
Saturday trip with Big John down to Delacroix, or maybe Lake P, we just be going fishing somewhere for sure, until then:
Good Fishing
